FAQ groups

Bundle Q&A pairs into groups. Add, edit, and delete groups, and add, remove, or reorder the pairs inside each one.

Import optional

Import an existing groups export if some groups already exist - skip this if you're building groups from scratch below. Importing again updates any group with a matching handle and adds the rest as new.

How does matching to Q&A pairs work?
Any field on a group entry shaped like a list of references (e.g. shopify--qa-pair.some-handle, shopify--qa-pair.another-handle) is scanned for handles matching the Q&A pairs' definition handle (set on the Q&A pairs page). Matching handles are looked up against whatever Q&A pairs you've imported there. Unresolved references are shown clearly below and will still export correctly by handle even if you haven't imported the matching Q&A pairs yet.

Export for Matrixify

Generates a Matrixify-format import file for your current groups (Command MERGE for active groups, DELETE for any you've removed that existed in Shopify). Import it back into Shopify via the Matrixify app.
